I finished reading The Forgotten Kingdom by Signe Pike. Once again, I was completely blown away by Pike's prose and the emotional impact of the story. I liked the second one even more than the first. The third one doesn't come out until September of next year and I have to admit that was a pretty hard blow. I want to know what happens to all the wonderful characters now. This series is one I'd highly recommend. The author clearly put a lot of work into research and writing and her hard work shows spectacularly.
I'm halfway done with the newest book I'm reading and am hooked. The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman surprised me by just how much I've loved it. My heart has broken for the narrator so many times and I believe this is one of the few horror books that have made me feel afraid while reading it. Usually, I'll get anxious when I try to go to sleep at night but this one has had something that makes me incredibly uncomfortable but in the best way possible. This year, I read my first Neil Gaiman book which was Anansi Boys. I talk about it in my blog if you want to hear more of my opinions on it. Overall, I enjoyed it, but there's something about this book that I've enjoyed even more. I'll probably stay up past my bedtime finishing this book tonight.
Season 27 of Diablo III started this Friday. My husband and I have made a party of it in the past and try to get to level 70 on the first night. This time, we're taking it slower. We've been busy lately but I love the new cosmetic pet reward this season and am motivated to get it. We're both demon hunters this season and my main objective in playing Diablo will eternally be to get as many pets as I can.
Are you waiting for any books in a series to come out? What's your favorite Neil Gaiman book? What's the coolest pet in Diablo III?
Thank you for reading my article. Keep dreaming and daydreaming of all the wonderful worlds in your head.
