This last week I was able to read a couple of books due to them being shorter. I first read Arun Gandhi's The Gift of Anger. This was a wonderful book. I learned so much and finished feeling empowered to try and make a difference. Arun Gandhi is the grandson of Manilal Gandhi and the book is about the lessons that he learned from his grandfather. I feel like this book is one that will stick with me for a long time and I want to change my personal biases, my actions, and my perceptions to become a better citizen, parent, and person. This is a book I want my children to read and learn from and I think the world would be  better if the principles of acceptance and love taught were followed. It was also a good reminder to me that everyone is learning and growing and the more love one is shown, the more they'll want to do better.

The other book I read this week was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol. It's a super popular book that I had never read before. It was fun reading a book that has affected pop culture so much. I actually expected it to be a little weirder than it was. It was definitely different than other things I've read, but I think I've watched so many shows, movies, and played videogames with Alice that I was more than prepared for the more eccentric parts. I loved how Alice was written. The writing was witty and the character was interesting. There were also so many wonderful, outlandish characters I can see why so many people are enamored with the book.

I just started reading The League of Gentlewomen Witches by India Holton yesterday so I'll go into it more next week. So far, it's a hilarious and fun feminist book that I've had a hard time putting down.

Shin Megami Tensei V has continued to be such a fun game. I'm not sure how long the game is but I think I'm making pretty good progress. I've had to take it slow this week because our toddler has had a fever and needed a lot of love and attention. I've been pretty exhausted but I'm happy because it looks like he's starting to feel better.

Thank you for reading my article. What do you like about Alice's Adventures in Wonderland? What's your favorite media or books that have Alice in them? What are some books you've read you would want others to read?

Keep dreaming and day dreaming of all the wonderful worlds in your head.
