This last week was great but sad. I finished the last two books of Genevieve Cogman's The Invisible Library series. After putting down The Untold Story I genuinely felt extremely satisfied with the series as a whole. Not every character's ending was explained, but it felt right. I would recommend the book series to anyone and am incredibly happy that Cogman mentioned in her Acknowledgements that she's working on another book because I really want to read more of her work. This week has been difficult because I haven't been able to read more about Irene, her exciting adventures, intriguing friends, and the clever way she solves problems. She's a character I will remember for a long time.

I have a few books coming up that I'm looking forward to reading but I won't have access to them until Monday. In the meantime, I've been reading Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. The reason I'm reading it is to fulfill this year's library challenge of reading a book by an author who has only published one book. There aren't many of those that I can find with a quick search. I am very happy to read Black Beauty though. I had a best friend growing up where every sleepover we had, we would watch Black Beauty and Bambi. I had never read the book and so it has been fun reading the original story of what I was so enamored with as a child.

I have greatly enjoyed playing Shin Megami Tensei V. I mentioned this last week, but the number of different mythologies they use is super fun. The only problem is I'll get caught in the rabbit hole of looking up more about one of the monsters and an hour later I haven't touched the controller but I have learned a lot about Dravidian. I'm way over leveled because I've enjoyed grinding and fusing demons so much.

Thank you for reading my article. Have you ever been sad after reading a series? What are some authors you can think of that have only written one book?

Keep dreaming and day dreaming of all the wonderful worlds in your head.
