Making Lists

This last week I've had a lot of fun better organizing the world of my books. It became a necessity as the current book I'm writing has a lot of characters and references to characters in other books. It has been a big endeavor listing all the characters in every book, including historical mentions, and recording physical descriptions, heritages, and association information about every one of them. It has been a lot of fun but also hard work. The list will continue growing as I start editing other books and of course as I continue writing. 

While making this list, I've also started compiling other pieces of information such as geography of Daronfel, measurement system, holidays and all sorts of other world building things. This will hopefully help me stay consistent as I move forward and start connecting parts of the book more. It's always satisfying to see in books the way the world grows and this will help me tell the stories of historical figures mentioned.

I've definitely had places where I've compiled information before but this is all in the same place and in a format that's much easier to navigate through. My husband in going to school to be an accountant and so he's helped me figure out how to organize things on Google Sheets in a nice and more user friendly way. It's super awesome.
