This weeks has been very productive for the Isle of the Forsaken Gods book. I've read through the story again and have started to let others look at the work. It's been very helpful so far. I've gotten some great comments that are helping me understand what needs to be changed to make the book better. I want to go through the comments all at once so I'm going to wait a few days and then make all the revisions and edits needed. It's so fun seeing what impressions a reader has on some of the characters and their guesses at what will happen next. I really think that the book will be much better and I'll feel ready to show it to literary agents once the changes are made.

I've decided to make these updates a little shorter so you're not super bored with me repeating all the editing and revising that goes into writing. I'm sure all you writers understand that. I've been reflecting about this year so far, and I think the thing that has helped my writing the most this year is all of the reading I've been doing. I've always loved reading, but this year I've made goals to read a lot more. It has helped me improve my writing substantially. It has also helped me see that there are a lot of great writers who write such different things.

Thank you for reading. What are some things you've done lately that have helped your writing?

Keep dreaming and daydreaming about all the wonderful things in your head.
